Phenotype prediction is the ultimate objective of most genotyping studies. Whenever current scientific knowledge provides established links between genotypes and phenotypes, Epidauros incorporates this knowledge in its SNPsuite^® Software for phenotype prediction.

 

When phenotype prediction is not established for the genes or drugs of interest, Epidauros offers statistical genotype-phenotype association analysis as a service. The genotype-phenotype association analysis can be carried out using an explorative or classic design, including a statistical analysis plan. Phenotype data can comprise categorical and continuous variables. Genotypic data can include SNP genotypes, alleles and haplotypes. For identification of haplotypes, Epidauros offers in silico and experimental haplotyping as a supplementary service.
